The Adventure Cycling maps will get you there sure - but do they include notes about cheese factories, lighthouses, or the quality of the hiker/biker sites at local state parks? Until I write my own guide, this book's conversational and accessible route plan is the gold standard (or steel - if you're into that sort of thing!)
