A fantastic book! Adichie writes with a uniquely captivating style, switching perspectives convincingly and easily. She follows the lives of two Nigerian young adults in love, separated when Ifemelu moves to the US for school, and Obinze moves to the UK. They go on to have vastly different experiences of what it means to be an immigrant, exploring themes of race, cultural identity and love.
