Once again master storyteller Barbara Kingsolver delivers a novel that's engaging and relevant. This story takes us to rural Appalachia where a mass of monarch butterflies has come to overwinter, much to the concern of scientist Ovid Byron. They should be in Mexico by now, but for unexplained reasons have landed off course. Locals see it as a miracle, not understanding the bigger picture, just focusing on present beauty. Great read!
